FISHING REPORT – 28/02/13
- Reports of Barra at the mouth of the Ross and from the Rock Walls.
- Whiting and Prawns being caught in the Haughton Mouth (Cungulla) on Live Yabbies
- Macks – “Doggies” and “Spanish” behind Maggie
- Atomic Plazo’s are reported to be the “Standout Plastics”
- Also a few Yellowfin Bream starting to show up off the Rock Walls.
- Some good Cobia being caught around the Palms
- One Angler tells of Tiger sharks close to beaches with small children swimming nearby, so just remember there are plenty of safe swimming areas around and this time of year you are better off using the Stinger Nets located in various areas around Townsville including The Strand, Pallarenda, Balgal Bay Magnetic Island – Horseshoe Bay & Picnic Bay and!!!
