Hi, I came across this site in a google search looking for a charter for my Dad's birthday and just started reading some of the articles. Some interesting information although most of it went way over my head but the posts above caught my attention in relation to the charter discussion. Can anyone recommend a good charter for the prices quoted above ($200) cause I've rung a couple of charter places around town and the cheapest I have been quoted is $275.00pp min of 2 people so $550.00 for the day. Then they jump to $220.00pp with a min of 3 so $660 which is a little high for me. I even gave the G&T Fishing School mentioned above a go to see what it was all about and they are actually better priced at $400.00 for the whole day the only thing with them is the school needs to be run out of your own boat(which I don't have)I also inquired about the insurance issue mentioned above as that did concern me reading these posts but they assured me they are fully insured.
