I'm hearing you Mal. I spent a very very frustrating Thursday trying to position over a very small mark at Hinchinbrook – water goes from 1.5m to about 5m in an area about the size of half a basketball court. The tide and the wind disagreeing with each other, and couldn't anchor on the spot at all – should have drifted. It regularly produces good grunter and the odd FM. thanks again for the advice. kieran
