With the continued success of the Fishing Townsville website (almost 1000 page views in the last month), I thought I might trial the use of a Fishing Townsville Forum. I know there are already a number very large dedicated fishing forums available (ausfish and fishnet being two of the largest). However, I though it might be a good option to have something local available. I know I spend a little time on the other forums and constantly see locals communicating with eachother in particular threads. Some are even organising fishing trips using this facility. My thought was that a forum specifically intended for use in the local area might be of benefit for some. Time will tell.

I have created a section for Townsvilles fishing clubs to discuss and organise different events. If your club is not listed and you would like a place on the forum, simply send me an email and I’ll arrange a spot for you.
